Therefore, we want to strengthen our team in this domain, and invite applications for an assistant professorship on Sustainability in Civil Engineering. In particular, we look for expertise in the design, construction, retrofit, and preservation of civil infrastructural systems and their interactions with the environment. Key ingredients in this respect are energy and CO2 saving, smart and sustainable materials; life cycle assessments; sensing and monitoring technologies; intelligent and automated systems for the design and construction of durable, adaptable, reusable and recyclable civil engineering systems.

The teaching load will be about 50%. If you are not yet formally qualified for teaching at universities, we offer a program to obtain this qualification within 2 years (University Teaching Qualification, UTQ).
