The positions within the CPB Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis is making scientifically-based economic analyses and prognoses relevant to the policies of government and other social organisations.
The new staff member will have strong analytical qualities and up-to-date knowledge of quantitative research methods. He or she will be creative in scientific research and the practical application of economic theory on complex problems. Preferably, these abilities can be illustrated by published articles and/or theses. This new staff member is a team player and has good communication skills, in English as well. Knowledge of Dutch is not required.
CPB has several positions for temporary researchers (for one or two years, upon mutual agreement). The researchers will be working in different areas of the CPB. We are looking for economists and econometrics in scales 11 (up to EUR 4380.72 gross per month maximum), 12 (up to EUR 4964.76 gross per month maximum) or 13 (up to EUR 5553.35 gross per month maximum), depending on knowledge and experience. In the government job classification system, this function is classified as scientific researcher within the job experience, knowledge and research.
Contract type: Temporary, 1 to 2 years.
