The Calcium and Bone Research Group of the Department of Internal Medicine offers dynamic, international and multi-disciplinary environment for high-level biomedical research on skeletal and stem cell-related disorders and is together with the Department of Hematology leading in the translational program of the Erasmus Stem Cell Institute for Regenerative Medicine (ESIRM).
The ESIRM has a strong commitment to fundamental and translational research that will facilitate stem cell therapies and innovative medical advances in the Erasmus MC. The investment of Erasmus MC into world-class stem cell research programs in ESIRM will result not only in novel medical treatments, but also ensures the high quality education of the next generation of clinicians. Moreover, the ESIRM plays an important role in public education, informing the community of the latest medical advances and providing links to important stem cell information sources.
We are looking for a committed research technician to join our team and to support our stem cell research program. The candidate should have expertise in (stem) cell culture, molecular biology, and microscopic and cell sorting techniques. You are flexible, precise and will be able to work independently while being a team player.
We offer a position for 4 years. The gross monthly salary, dependent on education and experience with a maximum of € 2.744,- (scale 7) based on a full-time working week. The terms of employment are accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement for University Medical Centers (CAO UMC).
