PhD candidate in the field of Research in Management

More than 30 vacancies.

In the four-year ERIM PhD programme all PhD candidates follow a state-of-the-art PhD course programme, which fits their academic background and research interest. During the project, senior ERIM Research Fellows and Members coach the PhD candidate.

Research projects are offered in one of the following fields: Business Processes, Logistics Management and Information Systems; Organization; Marketing; Finance & Accounting; Strategy & Entrepreneurship. Please note that you will have to apply for specific projects which are mentioned on the ERIM website.

Apart from a variety of pre-defined PhD projects ERIM offers a small number of prestigious Open Project PhD positions. These positions are characterized by much freedom in choosing the topic of one’s thesis project.

Requirements

Required education/skills: A Master's degree with excellent results in one of the various disciplines such as: business administration, economics, econometrics, psychology, behavioral sciences, and technical sciences. Candidates should also show explicit interest in and motivation for scientific research. All applicants are required to enclose a GMAT (or GRE) test score.

Conditions of employment

Salary per month: Between €2042 and €2612                                                                                                                                                                               Employment basis: Full-time
Duration of the contract: 48 months
Maximum hours per week: 38

Additional conditions of employment:
Salary in accordance with the collective agreement (CAO) of Dutch universities: €2042 (year 1), €2379 (year 2), €2492 (year 3), €2612 (year 4).  All amounts mentioned are fixed and gross amounts per month.
