The Programme Manager MSc has overall responsibility for the daily management and logistics of a number of RSM’s pre-experience master programmes, amongst which the MSc in Business Administration.
He/she has direct responsibility for:
* the design and implementation of the year plan and schedule of courses and exams
* correct and timely registration of students in programmes/courses/exams
* the implementation of elements of the quality control cycle, such as course evaluations
*Liaising with the Academic Directors in order to provide an optimal support structure for the respective programmes;
* Being the principle point of contact for students regarding logistical & organisational issues;
* Liaising with colleagues in the department on relevant issues (Examination Board, International Office and so on);
* Organisation of programme related events such as introductory activities for new students
He / she will contribute to:
* marketing and recruitment activities;
* the efficient, effective and pleasant operations of the MSc unit;
* an enjoyable study experience of the master students;
* advice on, initiation and implementation of process improvements
The applicant should:
* hold a Higher Education degree;
* Have two years of relevant working experience in (international) higher education;
* possess quantitative and analytical skills;
* Have an excellent command of both Dutch and English;
* Possess excellent communication skills;
* have a customer friendly attitude, whilst being able to cope with (large numbers of) demanding students;
* have an affinity with administrative processes and be accurate;
* be able to liaise effectively and efficiently with various stakeholders (i.e. students, Academic Directors, RSM and EUR colleagues);
* have an optimistic and strong problem solving attitude;
* be stress resistant;
* be able to work independently and take initiatives.
The conditions of employment correspond with the collective labour agreement for Dutch Universities (schaal 9 / 10 CAO NU). We offer a fulltime contract, initially for 1 year after which there is the option of a permanent contract. Remuneration is dependent on experience and qualifications of the candidate.

The Programme Manager is part of the unit MSc Programmes that deals with 14 RSM pre-experience masterprogrammes. He/she works closely with the two other MSc programme managers and the programme assistant and he/she reports to the Executive Director MSc Programmes. The programme manager liaises with a number of other units, such as the Examination Board, the Examination Administration, the student advisers, the International Office, Career Services, the Recruitment and Admissions Office and the Resource Department and has frequent contact with both teaching staff and students.
