Job Delft University of Technology - Technician

The position’s primary aim is to provide technical support in the synthesis and testing of the developed membranes. The position is co-funded by Hyflux CEPAration in Helmond, and a close collaboration with the company is envisaged.

We are looking for an original and innovative engineer (HBO level). Good practical skills, creativity and familiarity with high-pressure operation and common analytical techniques are essential for this position. A good command of English is mandatory.

The position is for a three-year (36 months) appointment. The salary range has a maximum of €3422 gross per month (scale 9 in the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities) based on a full-time appointment and depending on experience. If applicable, the salary range may possibly be extended to scale 10. Kapteijn, and consists further of four Associate/Assistant Professors and a team of more than 30 post-docs and PhD students. CE focuses on the application of catalysis through smart engineering, with a strong emphasis on the utilisation of structured materials in multiphase and multifunctional operation. CE is presently one of the leading groups in the application of regular structures and advanced nanostructured materials in catalysis, adsorptive processes and separations.
