Job description
The candidate should explore within a Dutch Top Institute Pharma project entitled: “renin-angiotensin system blockade beyond angiotensin II” the significance of new pharmacological approaches to prevent angiotensin II and endothelin-1 mediated target-organ damage in hypertension and heart failure.
Requirements
A PhD in cardiovascular physiology/pharmacology or related field is required. Experience with the following techniques is considered as being advantageous: in vivo animal hemodynamics, isolated organ studies, advanced microscopy techniques, and the peripheral nervous system.
Conditions of employment
The candidate is expected to take part in the teaching responsibilities of the department of Pharmacology and Toxicology.
