The Department Methodology and Statistics has about 20 staff members and offers a broad spectrum of bachelor´s, master´s and doctoral degree courses in statistics and methodology to students in Health, Medicine, Life Sciences and Pyschology. The Department has active research programs in the design and analysis of health sciences studies focusing on random effects and multilevel models. The professor will be primarily responsible for education, research and statistical consultation in the faculty Health, Medicine and Life Sciences.
We are looking for applicants who have a PhD in Biostatistics or any other field of statistics, such as biometrics, econometrics, and psychometrics with an excellent research track in design and statistical analysis of medical and health science studies and publications in international journals. We expect the candidate to be committed to excellent and innovative teaching. Applications from women and minorities are encouraged.
