The postdoctoral research fellow will perform high quality research of a quantitative nature in the field of innovation and firm performance. The research will be based on microeconomic datasets such as the Community Innovation Survey (CIS), firm censuses, and databases based on accounting data. Opportunities to gain teaching experience are available, but not obligatory.
The applicant is expected to hold (or to be near completion) a PhD from a well-established university, to have some prior experience with research on innovation, and to be familiar with advanced econometric research tools for analyzing micro (panel) data.

We offer a contract for a one- two- or three-year period, based on the candidate’s qualifications and preferences. Salary is competitive, depending on qualification and work experience, up to the maximum of € 4.374,- per month (12 monthly payments) for a fulltime job. On top of this, there is an 8% holiday allowance and 8.3% end of year allowance. Non-Dutch applicants could benefit from tax advantages.
