Job Utrecht University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine - Veterinary radiologist (1,0 fte)

The radiology service is a separate clinical service for companion animals and horses and uses the latest in imaging and diagnostic equipment (e.g. Ultrasound, Nuclear scintigrafy,CT and MRI). 

The successful candidate will have clinical, teaching and research responsibilities. The candidate has proven experience and quality, as well as the ambition to grow to a leading position.

• A highly motivated candidate with excellent interpersonal skills;
• A team player to ensure appropriate communication with clients, referring veterinarians and in-hospital personnel;
• Registered diplomate of the European or American College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging;
• PhD degree and a post-doctorate research record;
• Leadership qualities and the ambition to become leader of the Radiology Service, and full professor of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging;
• Fluently English speaking.

We offer a fulltime tenure track appointment. The salary will depend upon experience and qualifications, up to a maximum of € 4,970 gross per month (salary scale 12 Collective Labour Agreement of the Dutch Universities). Secondary benefits, based on the Collective Labour Agreement of Dutch Universities are excellent and includes (e.g.) a pension scheme, flexible employment conditions and salaries are supplemented with a holiday bonus of 8% and an end of year bonus of 8.3% per year.
