The group offers expertise in colloids, inhomogeneous polymer systems including self-consistent field modelling, self-assembly of amphiphiles including lipids or (bio)polymers (employing various mechanisms of assembly) and non-linear rheology of soft matter systems. You can rely on a well-equipped laboratory with techniques such as (light) scattering, ellipsometry, reflectivity, AFM, microscopy (including confocal), calorimetry, rheology, Langmuir trough, titration and surface characterization methods.
We offer you as a talented scientist a challenging career trajectory called tenure track. From the position of assistant professor you can grow into a professor holding a personal chair.
