This site gives information on studying in around 20 European countries. This includes links per country to main universities and other institutes for higher education. The site also offers country profiles and descriptions of education systems.

Careerportal offering advice and links specifically aimed at job seekers in Australia. The site offers also information about immigration in Australia, links to job sites and articles on career related issues.

Occupational Outlook Handbook

Online guide to professions in the USA with extensive information per profession on employment prospects, salary and required training. Access via an alphabetical index or a presentation by sector. It is also possible to search by keyword and there are links to career journals and publications.

The menu 'Articles, books and websites' offers links on career issues and job searching in a number of countries, including job sites. Countries covered are the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Italy, Portugal, Spain and the UK. In addition links posted by visitors, although somewhat less structured. Site available in several European languages.

European Youth Portal

Useful information and links covering subjects such as: mutual recognition of qualifications, work permits, welfare jobs abroad and career opportunities within the European Commission.

Overview of research organisations worldwide, ordered by discipline or country. Direct links are given to websites of organisations listed. In addition profiles of scientists can be consulted. Languages: English, French, Spanish, arabic.

Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB)

Clear table of German career links, the content of each which is given in a scheme as dots. Sites are screened e.g. for presence of job adverts, career tests and links and the number of dots indicates how extensive the information is. Focus of the collection are mainly youths. Parts of the site are in English (accessible via home page).
