Important job site for higher educated. Apart from job-vacancies, it offers extensive career and labour market information. It is possible to enter a personal profile and CV. The site also contains extended information about working abroad.

Jobnews offers a combination of job vacancies and related information on its site. The job search menu contains standard search functions such as function-type, location and educational level. The general overview of jobs per sector and per function-type gives numbers of jobs available.

Jobsite of main Dutch newspaper ‘de Volkskrant’, issued in parallel with a weekly printed jobs-magazine of the same name. Aims mainly at higher educated. Main menu gives access to specific portals for the sectors education, technology and marketing/communication. Also advanced search options, large career portal and labour market related news.

Job adverts from the Netherlands’ largest newspaper ‘de Telegraaf’, free tabloid ‘Spits’ and other (regional) media, as well as jobs directly posted online. Search options include: job type, education level, region and keyword search. Classified ads and highlighted jobs from the paper edition can be searched separately. The site offers information about employers, a salary monitor, video presentations and an email service.

Job site of the Dutch regional newspapers. Vacancies are taken from printed editions or directly placed on the site by employers. Search menu includes selection of business sector and function type. Customisation of services is possible and the site gives news and information as well as company profiles (see menu 'Carrièreplaza').

Werk.nl

Jobsite of UWV Werkbedrijf, which is part of the public organisation for employment insurances UWV. This unit is specially devoted to employment services and reintegration. Jobs can be searched using a keyword function or criteria such as salary, region or employment hours. There is no list with functions or sectors to choose from. Site offers a large amount of extra information for job seekers and the services of UWV Werkbedrijf. Site is entirely in Dutch.

NationaleVacaturebank.nl

Large internet job database, offering also company profiles, advice for job interviews and personalised email service. Search option offers searching by keyword, geographical distance, jobtype and education level.

Parttimebank

Job site specialised in part time jobs for higher educated (academic or higher vocational education). Jobs are partly selected from other Dutch job sites. Jobs posted are minimal two days per week. Site also gives news about part time work.

Freelancematch.nl

Freelance workers can post an online profile in order to attract clients for their services. Employers in turn post projects for which they need freelancers. All job sectors are covered with an emphasis on text writers/translators, commercial functions and computer related services for the freelancers offering themselves. A majority of the projects offered by employers are computer related. Next to projects offered, earlier reactions are given with date and amount offered.
