For the Marketing, Communications & Recruitment department we are looking for a Team Lead Marketing / Senior Marketer

As Senior Marketer you are responsible for formulating and taking responsibility for effectuating the strategic marketing, communications and recruitment plans for the Nyenrode programs in the dedicated community (young professionals).

You will play a key role in Nyenrode’s commercial success by orchestrating strategies related to  program portfolio, pricing, positioning, student enrollment targets and marketing outreach at a national and international level. You will also lead and empower a team of four Community Marketers.

The role includes the following activities:

• Together with fellow team leads and Director developing and directing the execution of all MCR activities stimulating synergy and teamplay;
• Leading the strategic development of target group and program-related B2C and B2B plans in cooperation with fellow Community Marketers, Program Advisors and Program Directors;
• Translating these strategic plans into operational activities including determining budgets and monitoring performance;
• Coordinating with the internal client regarding the desired level of support with respect to marketing, communications and/or recruitment;
• Ensuring a balanced allocation of work across the various programs in the dedicated community and amongst the dedicated team members (Community Marketers);
• Advising the executive board and program management with respect to feasibility and effectiveness of plans and commercial initiatives from a marketing perspective;
• Engaging with fellow Senior Marketers and other team members in initiatives that benefit the department while constantly keeping an eye on opportunities for optimization and increase in efficiency/effectiveness;
• Innovating within one’s own professional field, e.g. in order to seek out (new) markets, required resources, etc;
• Guaranteeing the alignment of international marketing & recruitment activities with the international ambitions of the university in close cooperation with International Relations;

Who are you?

• You are comfortable be being the go-to person when it comes to Marketing, Communication & Recruitment topics; 
• You have outstanding communication, presentation and social skills;
• You find it easy to connect with different stakeholders within a matrix organization;
• You enjoy guiding and mentoring fellow marketing professionals;
• You have a minimum of 5 years of work experience within international organizations and/or the academic field;
• You have management/team leading experience;
• You hold a Master’s degree in business or marketing;
• You have excellent command of Dutch and English language (Additional languages desired);

Depending on age and work experience, at least € 3.455,- and up to € 4.744,- gross per month for a full-time employment (scale 11).
