This is what you will do!

Within the Business & Engineering Traineeship you get the opportunity take on challenging assignments within various departments of ASML. Based upon your technical expertise you will be matched with the department of ASML that suits you best. Generally you're assignments will contain one of the following fields of exptertise:

Architecture

The architecture within the ASML machines is crucial for overall performance. In this role you will be responsible for the translation of specific requirements into the design of the ASML machines. This specifically goes for the mechanical architecture of the machines that allow ASML engineers to access the the machine for maintenance and upgrades. This involves budgeting and communication to, and where necessary negotiation between, the users. Other core activities consist out of bringing the system into operation with all the specified functions and conducting verification tests to prove that the architecture or subsystem is working as intended during the specification phase. This requires a combination of technical expertise and leadership skills

Availability

ASML is dedicated to increasing the robustness of the company’s products and processes. The sector drives the industrialization of solutions relating to Reliability, Availability, Manufacturability and Serviceability (RAMS) into ASML’s products from the moment of their conception until they meet the Customer’s specifications and expectations. You will make sure that the ASML Machines don't face downtime. If they do, you will be responsible for fixing it. Also you will prepare the various hardware and/or software updates, so that uptime of the ASML machines won't be affected. This role will acquire strong projectmanagement skills as well as a strong engineering background.

Project Management/Team lead

To make sure that technological development doesn’t take its toll on project efficiency, ASML needs project leads that can bridge the gap between people, technological products and processes. ORMIT knows exactly what you need to be successful in doing so. We believe that to in order to be a successful project lead at ASML, you need to see the bigger picture. You need to experience different technological environments and develop your soft skills just as well as your hard skills.

What we look for in our Trainees

• A technical oriented bachelor and masters degree.
• Academic-level skills.
• 0 to 2 years' professional experience.
• Strong affinity with technology and improvement processes.
• Relevant extracurricular pursuits alongside your study programme.
• Good command of English. Dutch is optional.
• A can-do mentality that lets you turn ideas into results.
• You are eligible to work in the Netherlands (applicable for International candidates).
