The overall aims of the project you will be working on are to uncover new signal transduction mechanisms, and to identify and characterize novel inhibitors of these processes. We take a multidisciplinary approach including high throughput chemical screens, genetics, (bio)chemistry, cell biology, zebrafish/mouse models and mathematics/bioinformatics. As a postdoc, you will have a leading role in research projects. Thus, you will also supervise other researchers and PhD candidates and take the lead in research projects. You will also publish your results in high-impact scientific journals and present your findings at (inter)national conferences.

You are also capable of having a leading role in research projects and supervise other (PhD) researchers. Fixed-term contract: 2 years.

You will be employed on the basis of 36 hours per week. Appointment is for two years. Your salary is based on your education and experience and is a maximum of  € 4,481  gross per month for a full time position (scale 10 in the Collective Labour Agreement for University Hospitals).
