You have a creative vision for communicating our mission internally, and you can develop and implement ideas and initiatives to further build engagement with RSM staff and faculty. Tasks:

·         Implement and help to further develop our internal communications (IC) strategy and plans. This includes evaluating current and possible future communication activities and tools as well as recommend and implement plans based on these evaluations

·         Organise internal engagement activities (social events, town hall meetings, …)

·         Compile and distribute internal messages and newsletters (developing, writing and editing content)

·         Manage the RSM intranet and other digital IC tools (particularly content management)

·         Develop, maintain and engage a network of IC ambassadors

·         Encourage and moderate two-way and multi-way internal communication

·         Stimulate cross-departmental team collaboration through internal communication

Qualifications:

·         Higher professional education (Dutch HBO) or university qualifications

·         Proven experience in (internal) communication function

·         Understanding of IC and creating appropriate engagement

·         Excellent written and spoken English and Dutch (C1)

·         Affinity with academics and the academic world

·         Digital knowledge (social media, working with content management systems)

·         Critical and can-do attitude

·         Enthusiast and capable of motivating others

What do we offer?

The salary range for this specific position is €2,709 – €4,724 (scale 10) CAO VSNU, based on full-time employment). This job will be for three days a week. Ranking will be based on education and working experience. RSM also has excellent secondary benefits.

·         Excellent, flexible employment agreements, including 41 leave days and 2 extra leave days for personal development (pro-rata, based on a 40-hour week), holiday allowance, an end-of-year allowance, and travel expense compensation.
