The implementation of a new data repository, the rollout of ORCID’s to be created by all researchers, giving a boost to Open Access publishing, these are just a few of the projects that the University Library will be working on in 2020 and 2021. For this we are looking for an experienced project manager. Managing the interdependencies requires insight and overview. It will require contacts and cooperation with faculty staff and researchers and coordination of communication. It will be your job to steer on milestones and deadlines. The tasks will be diverse, combining individual and group tasks, cooperating intensively with different stakeholders at the University. In the Library you will be working together with motivated and expert teams and professional service staff. You will report to the manager Data- and Publication Support and the Management Team of the University Library.
· Experience in managing multiple projects
· The ability to report clearly on progress and risks (knowledge of Prince II is an advantage).
· The ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders such as researchers, support departments, UL colleagues and management
· Understanding the research process.
· Competence in Dutch and English (C1 in accordance with CEFR)
· A dynamic working environment with room for initiative
· A contract for one year with the possibility of extension
· Salary according to experience, with a maximum of € 4.978,- gross per month (scale 11, CLA DU)
· 8% holiday allowance and 8.3% end of year allowance
