University College Utrecht (UCU) is the international (English language) Honours College of Utrecht University in Liberal Arts and Sciences. It offers students an academic and residential setting to provide foundations for their academic and/or professional careers. Among the special characteristics of the college are its small classes and individual attention. It provides an environment that encourages intellectual exchange among students and teachers in a friendly and informal atmosphere.
UCU is a selective college of 740 students of a wide range of nationalities. The College offers 230 courses annually by about 180 teachers. An important part of the UCU education is the tutorial system providing personal guidance to UCU students.
As of 1 August 2020 UCU has a new organisational structure consisting of the following clusters, where the current position will be part of Cluster 1.
In fall 2019 UU announced that it will relocate University College Campus as part of its renewed strategic housing plan. The relocation is due to 2025 at earliest.
