We are looking for a Python/ Javascript Developer.
What you’ll be doing
You will be part of the team of developers and research engineers. DANS is one of approximately 120 research data repositories world-wide that are certified as trustworthy by CoreTrustSeal. The contract will focus on development of a compliance management platform to support CoreTrustSeal with the management of applications for certification, and dissemination of the certification data and status to the community. The platform will be generalised to accommodate other forms of compliance, certification, including that of FAIR, and possibly the EOSC PID Policy.
What we expect
You have ideally completed a tertiary education in Computer Science or Engineering, but individuals with extensive coding experience - in the order of 5 years or more - will also be welcome to apply. You are motivated, flexible, and focused on results. Workable knowledge of English language will be an asset; proficiency in Dutch is expected. You are knowledgeable about and demonstrably experienced in the following:

Your gross monthly salary will amount to min € 2,790 and max. € 5,127 (Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch universities/KNAW, scale 10-11) on a full time basis, excluding 8% holiday pay and 8.3% year-end bonus. The temporary appointment will be for 1 year with the option of extension.
DANS Data Archiving and Networked Services (DANS-KNAW) is the Dutch national centre of expertise and repository for research data. We help researchers make their data available for reuse. This allows researchers to use the data for new research and makes published research verifiable and reproducible. With more than 170,000 datasets, participation in dozens of European projects and a staff of 60, DANS is among the leading data repositories in Europe.
