The International Institute of Social History is looking for talented interns for the Global Collaboratory on the History of Labour Relations, 1500-2000
The Global Collaboratory on the History of Labour Relations’s goal is to chart global developments in labour relations since 1500. The Collaboratory has developed an extensive taxonomy with which all labour relations, from work for the household to slave labour, can be classified. Based on this taxonomy, the Collaboratory strives to collect data about labour relations for as many countries as possible in the reference years 1500, 1650, 1800, 1900 and 2000. Function description
The internship carries a € 250, - per month trainee allowance at full time work. The internship will run for a duration of 4 months. Compensation for the commute between home and work is possible.
The International Institute of Social History (IISG-KNAW) is an Academy research institute. IISG is one of the most prestigious social history research institutes worldwide.
