Are you open to contributing to teaching courses in our group and share your own teaching experience to develop new assignment-driven course components? Job description

As a visiting lecturer/researcher you will continue to do your own research, but you will also join the colloquia and research meetings that are organized by the information systems group and the university as a whole to learn about the research that others are working on. You will develop collaborations with researchers in the Information Systems group that lead to joint research publications and possibly joint project proposals or other research output.

You are also invited to contribute to courses in the Bachelor and Master Programmes of the School of Industrial Engineering and/or supervising Bachelor students for their final project. The specific courses that you may be involved in will depend on your own knowledge and expertise.

Requirements

  • PhD in a relevant field, such as computer systems, information systems or a comparable domain.
  • Ability to conduct high quality academic research, demonstrated for instance by a relevant PhD thesis and/or publication(s).
  • Ability to teach, shown by experience or assistance in teaching and positive evaluations of these teaching efforts.
  • Committed to teaching.
  • Creative and dedicated to (multidisciplinary) collaboration.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
  • Excellent proficiency (written and oral) in English.
