Job description

As an Admissions Officer, you will process admission requests for programmes and study components of Erasmus School of Economics. You check the dossiers for completeness and take the decision on admissibility. To reach this decision, you combine many facets: what is the applicant's motivation, from which country does the diploma come, which grading system is used there and how does this compare to the Dutch system, what is the score for the English language test, how does this candidate fit in the international classroom, and so on. Every application is a small puzzle that results in admission or rejection. You communicate your decision to the applicant and of course you make sure the file is neatly updated. You are happy to answer questions from our applicants in a customer-oriented manner. You communicate alternately in Dutch and English. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the processes are organised efficiently and hook up the right people to get this done. You work closely with your colleagues and communicate a lot. You are excellent at keeping an overview so that the various processes run smoothly side by side.
