Job description

Under the direction of the Centre’s academic directors, this position takes a leading role in:

• developing the intellectual capital of the programme offerings through the delivery of content

• the research into and assessment of effective leadership development programmes

• outreach with the external business community to foster both student learning and faculty research.

The goal for the position is to further the Centre’s role in terms of collaboration, knowledge creation and dissemination in developing the principles of effective leadership among the global academic community in management and other related disciplines, RSM students and alumni, and the collaborative partnerships with business communities. 

Qualifications 

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• a master degree, ideally in business or management

• interest and experience in designing and executing leadership development programmes (incl. teaching)

• interest and experience with social media, and be able to translate research findings into stories for business leaders

• proficiency in project, event and budget management

• familiarity with working in a university environment (preferred)  

• skills and training in communications

• good ability to work with in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint to prepare research publications, bibliographies, and presentations. 

Fixed-term contract: Initially one year.

Employment conditions

The conditions of employment comply with the collective labour agreement for Dutch Universities (CAO NU). We offer a full-time contract, initially for one year with the option for extension if requirements are met.

Salary is subject to training and experience, and may vary from €3,475 (scale 11) up to €5,405 (scale 12) gross per month, based on a full-time contract. Erasmus University Rotterdam has attractive employment conditions, which include a holiday allowance of 8 per cent, an end-of-year bonus of 8.3 per cent and a generous number of vacation days.
