Job description

This postdoc position will be aimed at using halide perovskite nanostructures for advanced optoelectronics devices including solar cells, LEDs and lasers. It will involve both theoretical and experimental work, including leading the upgrade of our unique integrating sphere microscopy setup to include Fourier microscopy. Optimal nanostructures for specific applications will be designed, fabricated and characterized chemically, crystallographically, optically and electrically.

Research

The Nanoscale Solar Cells group synthesizes advanced metal and semiconducting nanostructures, characterizes their material properties and integrates them into novel device structures with the aim of improving our fundamental understanding of light absorption, charge separation, recombination and transport at the nanometer scale.
