We are looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher / PhD candidate in Cellular Protein Chemistry.

Postdoctoral Researchers, PhD students and technicians in our laboratory work independently but in teams on projects in the field of Molecular Cell Biology and Biochemistry. The projects involve scientific research collaborations with Biotech industry on the inherited disease Cystic Fibrosis. Focus is the folding, transport, and function of the (mutant) CFTR protein in mammalian cells.

We are looking for someone who has:

• a PhD/MSc degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Cell Biology or a related field;
• a strong scientific drive and affinity for our research;
• the ability to work independently and in a team;
• a good command of the English language.

We offer a temporary position (1.0 FTE) for two years. The gross salary - depending on previous qualifications and experience  - ranges between €2,222 and €4,084 (P Scale or scale 10 according to the Collective Labour Agreement Dutch Universities) gross per month for a full-time employment. Salaries are supplemented with a holiday bonus of 8 % and a year-end bonus of 8.3 % per year.
