The Department of Management at the Tilburg School of Economics and Management (TiSEM), Tilburg University, is looking for enthusiastic colleagues to reinforce teaching in the areas of Strategy and Entrepreneurship. Both full-time academic candidates and candidates wishing to combine their work in the field with a (part-time) academic appointment are eligible for applying. Courses are offered in TiSEM’s bachelor programs in Business Economics (in Dutch Bedrijfseconomie) and in Entrepreneurship, and in the Strategic Management. Possible courses for the new colleague to contribute to are Organization & Strategy, Strategic Management, Project IBA, Academic Competences, Foundations of International Strategy and courses in Entrepreneurship.

The lecturer who is appointed will be involved in the courses taught in English, and in courses in Dutch when possible. All courses are taught by a team of instructors. Among the tasks are lecturing, teaching tutorials, assessing assignments and exams, and supervising students writing their bachelor or master thesis.

We are in search of enthusiastic candidates with a master’s and/or PhD degree in Business Economics (Bedrijfseconomie), or a closely related field. Both candidates who wish to pursue a fully academic career and candidates who have relevant professional experience are invited to apply. Candidates should be willing to obtain a University Teaching Qualification while on the job.

Fixed-term contract: temporary appointment (maximum 5 years).

In addition to attractive secondary employment conditions and an international working environment, we offer a 1.0 fte position, which may be split in two part-time appointments (0.5 fte). This is a temporary appointment for a maximum of 5 years. The associated gross salary is maximally € 4084, - per month (salary scale 10) or € 4757, - per month (salary scale 11) for a fulltime appointment, conditional on training and level of experience.
