Job description

Erasmus School of Economics now seeks to appoint a new Dean. With a proven successful track record as a senior leader and manager, the successful appointee will have ultimate responsibility for the School’s teaching and research activities as well as for its operational management. The Dean’s responsibility stretches beyond the Faculty: Together with the deans from the six other faculties and two institutes, united in the College of Deans, he/she contributes to and supports interfaculty cooperation as well as the further development of the university as an organisation.

Conditions of employment

The term of a Dean appointment is four years and can be renewed. The appointment is associated with a tenured Full Professor appointment in one of the Departments at the School. The compensation package is competitive relative to European salaries and also comes with additional specific and attractive secondary terms of employment.
