The maximum salary for an Assistant Professor is € 5513 per month gross, for an Associate Professor, € 6567 and for a Full Professor, €9563. Terms of employment and length of contract vary according to the position.

Faculty Applied Sciences

The Faculty of Applied Sciences is the largest faculty of TU Delft, with around 550 scientists, a support staff of 250 and 1,800 students. The Department of Bionanoscience (www.bn.tudelft.nl), part of the Faculty of Applied Sciences at Delft University of Technology and part of the Kavli Institute of Nanoscience Delft (www.kavli.nl), is dedicated to pioneering, fundamental research at the interface between physics and biology. This young, international department was established in 2010 and has since expanded to currently 15 faculty members. The department offers excellent general facilities, including a central optical microscopy facility, a cryo-EM facility, extensive general cell biology and biochemistry facilities, and a large cleanroom facility, the Kavli Nanolab Delft. The Department strives for a collegial, nourishing, and inclusive environment.
