The interdepartmental research team Creative Economy is looking for a research explorer and coordinator to support the core team in developing the theme further, both in content, research opportunities and talent development. 

A creative economy is an economy of human value enabled by culture and creativity. It is a broader approach the Cultural and Creative Industries (CE), with a strong focus not only in the making, but in the value creation and the impact of the CCI to other sectors, in a societal level. The research theme ambitions to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes on new forms of value creation and societal impact through applied creativity. We are building an ecosystem that builds bridges between the research developed at Fontys, across all its institutes, and the sectors to which this knowledge can impactful for.

We Ask

• WO Level;
• A background in the intersection of the creative sector, society and social sciences;
• A good understanding of enterprise and innovation trends in the Brabant’s creative and cultural sectors;
• Excellent analytical and strategic skills in relation with the regional creative economy, preferably with experience in writing plans for creative and cultural enterprises;
• Knowledge and experience in fund-raising of new ecosystems of research and education;
• Autonomous and solution-driven: we need a thinker that is able to act and implement;
• Skilled in planning, organising and documenting brainstorming, debates and round tables;
• Track record in building and developing credible partnerships for strategic benefit;
• Excellent writer and ambitious.

Fixed-term contract: with the possibility to get an extension of the contract.

Salary scale : 12 - min. 4122,09 - max. 5301,29
