OSEA is at the heart of EUC to support all students and faculty with up-to-date information and organisation regarding the bachelor’s degree programme in Liberal Arts & Sciences. As a Functional Application Manager you proactively support the academic departments as well as other support staff teams within EUC’s Dean’s Office.
The Functional Application Manager we are looking for will:
Internationally-oriented and varied work within an enthusiastic team, with attractive fringe benefits in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities (CAO-NU). Your initial employment term will be for one year with the possibility of extension of one year if your performance proves satisfactory. Your remuneration will depend on the position, your specific knowledge and experience. It will be calculated on the basis of full-time salary ranging between EUR € 2835 and € 3895 gross per year (salary scale 9, CAO-NU).
Erasmus University Rotterdam offers attractive fringe benefits, including a holiday allowance of 8% of the yearly salary, an end-of-year payment of 8.3% of the yearly salary and 232 hours leave per year (based on a full-time appointment). Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences (ESSB)
The Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences is home to a vast diversity of scientific disciplines: public administration, pedagogical sciences, psychology and sociology. In addition, the Erasmus University College, IHS, and two research institutes RISBO and DRIFT are linked to the faculty. This also reflects in the content of the (international) bachelor's and master's programs and in research. Our activities are always focused on people and society. At the ESSB fundamental, internationally oriented research is of paramount importance. In addition, social research for professionals, policy makers, and the society is part of our research activities. ESSB offers a stimulating research environment where major national and international research grants are received. Appealing guest researchers and ambitious PhD candidates come along to conduct their research. Erasmus University College (EUC)
Erasmus University College was launched by Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) in September 2013. In a residential, intensive and small-group educational context, set in the centre of Rotterdam, EUC offers a Bachelor’s degree programme in Liberal Arts & Sciences for up to 650 international, diverse and highly qualified students. EUC has over 75 staff members and works closely with over 50 Fellows from other schools and faculties of EUR.
EUC recognizes the general underpinnings of liberal arts education: to provide students breadth and depth in their academic programmes, ensuring broad knowledge of culture, science and society, as well as in-depth study in a specific area of interest. For this, EUC offers its students an inspiring Academic Core programme as well as a dozen majors offered from four academic departments: Life Sciences, Economics & Business, Social & Behavioural Sciences, and Humanities.
