The MRA Team is a highly client-oriented team which aims to attract and retain as many high-quality students to apply to EUC each year. The team subsequently guides these students through the admissions process up until enrolment and is the first point of integration into the EUC community. The team adheres to open and positive communication not only towards its clients but in everything it does.

To support the MRA Team we are looking for a Marketing & Communications Officer whose primary responsibilities will include:

• Processing applications of prospective students, maintaining effective and friendly communication with applicants, and overseeing the interviews of applicants;

• Answering questions of prospective students about the admissions process, via email, webinars, phone-calls or whatsapp;

• Editing of the EUC website including periodic review to ensure that the information is correct and up-to-date;

• Effective management of the EUC social media channels and news on the website so as to ensure that the happenings at EUC are well broadcasted to its stakeholders and the general public;

• Maintenance and management of the online marketing efforts for EUC;

• Arranging recruitment events which will take place at EUC for prospective students, for example Experience Days

• Providing general support to the MRA team where needed

• You are looking forward to become a proactive member of a stimulating academic community that is the hallmark of a university college;

• You have an international background or a clear affinity with international students;

• You either have relevant working experience and/or preferably Master’s degree level of working and thinking;

• You are highly proficient in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat. Proficiency in website management software, Google analytics, design software and/or CRM systems is highly regarded;

• You have excellent written and oral skills for expressing yourself in English and Dutch (C2 level in the CEFR);

• You have excellent editorial skills and are well-versed in writing English texts for placement on social media platforms or news articles;

• Experience or a clear affinity with design is highly regarded;

• You have a service-oriented working attitude and you love to create and share news;

• You have the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple request simultaneously;

• You pride yourself on accuracy, integrity and critical thinking;

• You are flexible, and a team player.

The conditions of employment correspond with the collective labour agreement for Dutch Universities (CAO NU).

We offer a contract of 0.9 fte, initially for 1 year with the possibility of extension, preferably per 1 July 2017.

Salary is subject to training and experience and starts at € 2.131 gross per month (scale 7 or 8 CAO NU, depending on experience and prior education), based on a fulltime contract of 38 hours.
