The Faculty of Humanities, Leiden University Centre for the Arts in Society (LUCAS) is looking for a PhD Early Roman Tragedy and Ancient Philhellinism (1.0 fte).

Job description

Leiden University participates in the Gravitation Programme ‘Anchoring Innovation’. This programme investigates the ways in which innovations in the world of the ancient Greeks and Romans were adopted (‘anchored’).

Conditions of employment

 

PhD project, 4 years (1.0fte), start date: 1 April 2018. Initially a contract will be given for 12 months, with an extension for the following 36 months on the basis of a positive evaluation. Salary: €2,222 to €2,840 gross per month (based on 38 hours a week).
