You will be teaching in various modules in the Bachelor of Psychology and in the Master track Health Psychology & Technology and in the Master track in Health Sciences ‘Personalized Monitoring and Coaching’. The Bachelor modules (15 EC) focus on general psychological topics in the first year and on health psychology & technology, human centered design approach, research and professional skills in the years thereafter. You will be working in Bachelor and Master education as a tutor and facilitator of working groups. You will give lectures in various topics. Additionally you will supervise bachelor- and master theses in the field of health psychology with the option for research topics of your preference. You have a master’s degree and preferable hold a PhD in psychology, with a focus on health psychology in combination with technology. You see a challenge in combining psychological theories with innovative design principles and eHealth technologies. You are passionate about teaching and adopt a personal approach to students. You are able to transfer your knowledge to students and link theories and skills to the work field of health psychology. You have good to excellent, oral and written skills in English, as all teaching is conducted in English. You are in possession of an University Teaching Qualification (UTQ) or similar qualification or you are willing to get this qualification.

We offer you a contract of 24 – 38 hours per week for one year, with a two-month probation period. Prolongation of the position is a possibility. The terms of employment are in accordance with the Dutch Collective Labor Agreement for Universities (CAO). Depending on relevant background and experience, the gross monthly salary on a full time basis ranges from € 2.552,- to € 4.028,- per month. Employees are also entitled to a holiday allowance of 8% of the gross annual salary and an 8.3% end-of-year bonus. Starting date is August 1st, 2017.
