The candidate will play a leading role in the future development of the dermatology of the Utrecht University Animal Hospital. Additional responsibilities will be determined in accordance with the academic priorities and the candidate’s areas of expertise within the specialty of veterinary dermatology. Contributions by independent and/or collaborative research are encouraged. Interaction with colleagues across the range of specialist disciplines will give you further support and stimulation to develop your interests and ambitions.
The primary tasks of the candidate are:
We offer a fulltime job for the period of two years, with the possibility of extension in case of satisfactory performance. The salary for an assistant professor is between €3.475,- and €5.405,- (scale 11/12 of the Collective Labour Agreement of the Dutch Universities) gross per month for a fulltime appointment depending on education and experience. The salary for associate professor is between €4.815,- and €5.861,- (scale 13 of the Collective Labour Agreement of the Dutch Universities) gross per month for a fulltime appointment depending on academic credentials and experience. There are career development opportunities within the assistant professorship and the opportunity to become associate professor.
