Job description

We are looking for a new colleague for the Innovation & Valorisation team who combines programme management activities with research coordination and doing research in the field of water and circular economy.

Your profile

  • Do you have and can you apply an inter- and transdisciplinary perspective on water research?
  • Are you able to recognise strategic opportunities for KWR and the water sector?
  • Are you able to  connect actual water problems to solution-oriented knowledge packages, and can you translate these into projects with partners in The Netherlands and worldwide?

Then we are looking forward to meeting you!

This position offers you an attractive combination of programme management, knowledge sharing activities and applied research. You will identify relevant partners for KWR, create new connections, and involve them in our activities, formulate research questions and translate these into actual research projects. Together with colleagues you work for some of our large research programmes we coordinate with and for parties in the Dutch-Flemish and international water sector. This way you will actively contribute to the ambitions of KWR, extend our network, and create impact from research. Furthermore you will be involved in inter- and transdisciplinary research projects as a researcher. You will engage in these projects on the basis of your own water research specialisation and with the proven ability to cross borders of your own scientific discipline and the applied scientific community.
