Function:

Asset management is one of APG’s business unit. Our clients are central to our thoughts and actions. We deploy our experience, expertise and innovation to invest the deposited pension funds in a responsible and cost-effective manner. We have offices in four locations; Amsterdam, Heerlen, Hong Kong, and New York.

Operations is a highly complex service department. The department connects various
specialties in the areas of finance, IT, and data. Operations ensures portfolio managers have access to reliable data, so they can achieve the best possible return for their investment portfolios.

As an Operations trainee, you will get to know all aspects of APG in two years’ time, by completing several assignments. Possible assignments include developing new (data) services with external parties or setting up reporting infrastructures, for such specialties as alternative investments or private equity cash flow. You will get stuck into your assignments, but you will also work on your personal development. • Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Controlling, Information Management and/or Risk Management, with outstanding study results.
• A maximum of two years’ work experience.
• Broad-ranging extra-curricular development (e.g. committee or board
• membership, volunteer work).
• Fluency in English.
• Energetic, ambitious, analytical, and critical.

We will offer you a two-year contract with a € 3146 gross monthly salary (based on a 40- hour work week, excluding holiday pay and end-of-year bonus).
