The Center for Molecular and Biomolecular Informatics (
CMBI) is well known for the development of new computational approaches for the study of the gene en protein variation and for its ability to turn 'omics' data into biomedical understanding. The CMBI develops bioinformatics approaches that contribute to the understanding of disease mechanisms, personalized therapies and interventions, and a learning health care system. The CMBI is committed to the reusability of their data, tools, and services, and puts the FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interpretable, Reusable) data principles into action. The candidate will particpate in a cross-departmental task force of data scientists dedicated to the analysis of multi-omics data including researchers from the Human Genetics department, the Translational Metabolic Laboratory.
