The principle responsibilities of the Assistant  Professor will be to contribute to our Clinical & Health Psychology research program and to contribute to our educational  program within the Department of Psychology, Education & Child Studies (Section Clinical Psychology). Particularly, the assistant professor will attract and conduct research within the agenda of the Forensic and Legal Psychology group. Further, the candidate will develop and give courses in the new one-year master program in forensic psychology.

The successful candidate should

• Hold, or have virtually completed, a PhD-degree in a relevant area such as forensic psychology, clinical psychology, or experimental psychology;
• Have a substantial national and international network in this area;
• Have a strong, internationally competitive academic record and show evidence of a productive research trajectory;
• Be successful in the acquisition of research funding;
• Have a record of excellence in teaching, and be able to develop and teach courses at bachelor and master level.
• Be fluent in Dutch and English.

Your remuneration will depend on the position, your specific knowledge and experience It will be calculated on the basis of full-time salary ranging between EUR 3637,- and 5656,- gross per year (salary scale 11/12, CAO NU ). Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences
