Job description

As part of the department Information Management & Consultancy (IMC), the IT demand team works closely together with other departments and is responsible for user management, parts of functionality management and steering processes concerning information management and IT.

The team advises on usage and improvement of information systems that are used in educational, research and operational processes, gives support to system implementations and arranges application management. Proactivity and ownership are key factors.

You’re a proactive and communicative advisor with management experience to strengthen our team. You will fit in if you love to track down the needs of researchers, teachers and business partners, and realise the best possible IT solution for them. This could be a process improvement, system change or a new application. You like instructing and guiding a group, for example for a user training or an application demo.

Our requirements …

·       You speak fluent Dutch and English on a high level (CEFR C1)

·       Bachelor- or master-level degree

·       Experience with managing information systems

·       Experience with improving business processes

·       Experience with documenting requirements for IT solutions

·       An innovative and agile mindset

·       Experience with higher education is a pro

·       Knowledge of and experience with BiSL is a pro

Conditions of employment

We offer …

Our employment conditions include 41 days off (when working 40 hours a week), mandatory training and personal development, and opportunities to attend relevant conferences. You will receive a competitive salary (CAO NU scale 11-12), based on skills and experience, a holiday allowance of 8 per cent and an end-of-year bonus of 8.3 per cent.
