Als Research Analyticus houdt u zich bezig met de bediening, het operationeel houden en het laten onderhouden van de X-Ray-Fluorescentie (XRF) spectrometer. U selecteert of ontwikkelt de optimale analysemethode inclusief monsterbereiding, voert de analyses uit, rapporteert en bespreekt de resultaten met onderzoekers binnen CPM, maar ook breder binnen het CPE cluster en incidenteel voor externe klanten. Daarnaast wordt U algemeen kennisdrager van de diverse chromatografische technieken die binnen CPE worden gebruikt (GC, HPLC, IC, GPC). U adviseert over analysemethodes, interpretatie en adviseert in geval van technische problemen. Bovendien voert u algemene laboratoriumwerkzaamheden uit en assisteert waar nodig de onderzoekers bij de experimenten.

U heeft minimaal een afgeronde opleiding op HBO-niveau in de chemie of chemische analyse en u bent leergierig en handig. Relevante werkervaring strekt tot aanbeveling. Zelfstandig werken en technische problemen oplossen is voor ons erg belangrijk, naast goed samenwerken. U beschikt over uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden in een multiculturele en internationale werkomgeving, onder meer door uitstekende beheersing van de Engelse en de Nederlandse taal.
