The main tasks of the candidates are teaching, thesis supervision and teaching coordination in the (under)graduate, master and executive education  programs.

Among the requirements for this post are a Finance PhD degree or near completion and considerable teaching experience. Almost all teaching in the department is in English. You are required to follow the Learning and Teaching in Higher Education Programme (LTHEP, in Dutch referred to as BKO), a system adopted by all Dutch universities.

Fixed-term contract: One year.

The lecturer in finance will initially be offered an appointment for one year, after which a multi-year extension is possible.  Starting date will be 1 September 2020 or such other date as may be mutually agreed.

Salary will be in accordance with Dutch academic salary scales. For a lecturer this is min €3,389 and max €4,978  (+16.3 % holiday and end-year payments) dependent on experience and track record of the candidate. A temporary reduction in income tax (equal to 30 % of taxable salary) may apply to non-Dutch candidates. The Collective Labour Agreement of Dutch Universities is applicable.
