Are you a .NET Developer with broad knowledge and affinity for application integration, who knows the subtleties of the ICT field? Are you looking for a challenge, working in an innovative, dynamic environment, with complex ICT infrastructure and (research) projects? Do you have extensive experience in .NET, WCF SOAP, REST services working with XML and JSON as well as SQL (Oracle and MS SQL)? Then you may well be the ambitious, versatile ICT professional that we are looking for!

 

The position:

As a .NET Developer, you are responsible for the design/ innovation of the TU/e middleware and its realisation. In addition to the role of developer, together with a team of integration specialists, you are also responsible for managing the existing integration landscape and keeping it up to date. You develop/ design services in consultation with the Services and Faculties in the field of business operations, education and research. You participate in larger projects as a .NET Developer, for example in larger construction projects. The intention is that you will develop in BizTalk, for which you will be trained. In addition, the TU/e is closely following the movement towards the Azure Cloud.

Profile:
  • HBO work and thinking level
  • Extensive experience with .NET
  • Ability to independently translate Technical design into realisation (in accordance with standard and guidelines)
  • You can document and transfer the delivered solution (transfer of exploitation/management)
  • Domain Driven Development
  • Result oriented and Team player

Requirements

The candidate has proven experience with: 
  • .NET
  • SOAP XML, REST XML and REST JSON
  • WCF Services
  • SQL (Oracle, MS SQL and MySQL)
  • Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server    

Knowledge about the following components is an advantage:
  • BizTalk (BizTalk 2016 in use at the TU/e)
  • Biztalk360
  • Knowledge of a middleware environment

Conditions of employment

  • A challenging full-time appointment in a dynamic and ambitious university;
  • A salary depending on knowledge and experience of at least €2.709 and a maximum of €4.274 (scale 10 CAO-NU) gross per month in case of a full-time appointment;
