Job description

At the Radboud university medical center (Radboudumc) in Nijmegen, The Netherlands, one of the 18 research themes is urological cancers. In this theme, researchers with a diverse background work together on knowledge gaps in the fields of bladder, prostate and kidney cancer. With this position, we aim to hire a colleague who can help the urologists and cancer epidemiologists with the writing of grant proposals for clinically oriented research questions.

Tasks and responsibilities
You will familiarize yourself in the clinical management of patients with bladder cancer and the literature around knowledge gaps in this disease. You will discuss potential solutions to these gaps with all stakeholders, including patients, coordinate pilot studies and write draft grant proposals.

Requirements

  • A PhD in epidemiology or a related subject.
  • Some proof of successful grant acquisition.
  • Strong communicative skills in English.

Conditions of employment

Fixed-term contract: 3 year.
