Job description

The SENTIENT project (funded by the European Research Council) develops efficient scheduling methods for networked event-triggered control systems. The research in this project is highly interdisciplinary, involving the fields of communications, control and computer science. Furthermore, the research has both theoretic as well as applied components, performed in in our laboratory testbeds on swarm robotics, water transport, and automotive.

This position is focused on the development of increased scalability and efficiency of the verification and synthesis tools developed in the team. The job entails both theoretical work: development of efficient abstraction methods exploiting the problem structure, and applied: construction of parallelizable tools, use of cloud computing platform, etc.
