Job description

The implementation of a new data repository, the rollout of ORCID’s to be created by all researchers, giving a boost to Open Access publishing, these are just e few of the projects that the University Library will be working on in 2020 and for which we are in need of a project leader. Managing the interdependencies requires insight and overview. It will require contacts and cooperation with faculty staff and researchers and coordination of communication. It will be your job to steer on milestones and deadlines. The duties will be diverse, combining individual and group tasks, intensively cooperating with different stakeholders on the University grounds. In the Library you will be working together with motivated and skilled teams and support staff. You will report to the manager Data- and Publication Support and the Management Team of the University Library.

Requirements

  • Experience with managing multiple projects
  • Ability to clearly report on progress and risks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Understanding the research process is a pre
  • Ability to liaise effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders being researchers, support departments, UL colleagues and management
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English (minimum B2)

Conditions of employment

Fixed-term contract: 1 jaar.

  • Salary according to experience, with a maximum of € 4,274 gross per month (scale 10, CLA DU)
