Job description

The Department of Psychology, Education & Child Studies at the Erasmus University Rotterdam invites applications for an Assistant Professor position in our Clinical Psychology programme.

The principle responsibilities of the Assistant Professor will be to contribute to our Clinical & Health Psychology research program and to contribute to our educational  program within the Department of Psychology, Education & Child Studies (Section Clinical Psychology).

Requirements

The successful candidate should

  • Hold a PhD-degree in a relevant area; candidates with knowledge of severe mental problems such as psychosis are particularly encouraged to respond;
  • Have a substantial national and international network in this area;
  • Have a strong, internationally competitive academic record and show evidence of a productive research trajectory;
  • Be successful in the acquisition of research funding;
  • Have a record of excellence in teaching, and have well developed communication skills.
  • Preferably clinical experience

Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences (ESSB)

The Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences is home to a vast diversity of scientific disciplines: public administration, pedagogical sciences, psychology and sociology.
