The Delft University of Technology participates in the AI-for-Fintech Lab (AFL) in collaboration with IG. The goal of the lab is to perform world-class research at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Software Engineering in the context of FinTech. The Ph.D. position will focus on the intersection between AI and Software Testing, with attention to AI solutions for Testing and Testing solutions for AI.
More specifically, the research is concerned with the development of solutions to test and validate AI-intensive systems, including the internal stages of the AI pipelines, the AI models, and the interaction with other non-AI-based components. Besides, AI (and computational intelligence in particular) is a powerful tool to foster and automated software testing. Part of the research will include the design of AI-based solution (e.g., metaheuristics) to generate test cases for AI-intense systems and to predict test results.
