We are looking for an enthusiastic technician to join the team of the Metabolomics Group in the Center for Proteomics and Metabolomics. If you enjoy using the latest analytical techniques, as well as data analysis in an innovative academic environment, this might be the position for you!
Summary of the required skills
· Your work contains sample analysis, data analysis and reporting
· You will focus on both established analytical platforms as well as novel analytical techniques
· You will supervise interns
· You will work in an international multidisciplinary environment
You have finished a BSc or MSc in chemistry or analytical chemistry. Ideally you have some experience in mass spectrometry based on metabolomics and/or lipidomics. A good English level is mandatory in order to communicate with international collaboration partners and interact with international PhD students within the group. And finally, you have an interest in data analysis and reporting.
Fixed-term contract: 2-3 years.
You will be employed on the basis of 24 - 32 hours per week. Appointment is for one year, with an extension of two years. Your salary is based on your education and experience and is a maximum of € 2.892 gross per month for a full time position (scale 6 in the Collective Labour Agreement for University Hospitals).
