HZPC Sadokas is growing and the next step on the horizon is building an own farm where we can further grow and develop our varieties. The position of production manager offers you the possibility to be part of this pioneering and challenging project. Concretely, at the position you have the following main tasks:

• Manage and take care of the pre-basic seed potato production (FG1/2) on the corporate farm of HZPC Sadokas.
• Support the development of existing local seed potato production to safeguard and increase our market position in Russia.
• Handle all the field and storage activities that are needed to produce the planned volume of FG1/2 pre-basic seed potatoes at the right quality.
• Take care of all the technical, practical agricultural work on the corporate FG1/2 farm.

We are looking for an motivated colleague with entrepreneurial spirit. You are proactive, take initiative and are experienced or highly interested in the field of production.

You also have/are:

• Excellent command of English and Russian language.
• Agricultural education on university level.
• Experience in practical farming is an advantage.
• Technical insight (working, repairment and maintenance of machines, equipment and installations).
• Having a hands-on approach, being practical.
• Willingness to communicate and share information.
• Eagerness to learn and ambition to improve systems.
• Results driven.

Fixed-term contract: 1 year.
